What do you like about being a therapist?
I enjoy working with a wide range of people - each with their own unique background, strengths, and challenges. I’m grateful that clients are willing to share their most vulnerable thoughts, insecurities, and experiences with me. It’s an incredible privilege to walk alongside someone, witnessing even the smallest victories as they work toward becoming the person they want to be.
Individuals/Authors/Theorists who have influenced your work?
My work has been shaped by several influential thinkers. Carl Rogers’ emphasis on unconditional positive regard, empathy, and transparency continues to guide my approach. I also draw from Abraham Maslow’s understanding of how meeting basic needs supports personal growth, and from Aaron Beck’s work on the importance of helping clients understand the “why” behind their thoughts and behaviors.
What is your favorite quote?
" Do what you can, with what you have, where you are " - Theodore Roosevelt
What is your “go-to” creative or restorative outlet?
When I need to recharge, I find peace in nature, quiet moments with my animals, or laughter with friends. I believe in the power of play—it’s often an underrated but vital part of building resilience and finding relief during stressful times.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to communicate in any language as if I were a native speaker. I would love to connect with anyone from anywhere in the world and learn more about their experiences—without wondering if something was lost in translation.
